ConclusionXMLSockets are a flexible technology for sharing live two-way data with a web service. The process we have sketched out is just a beginning. The technology and its application can both go much further. In the next chapter we multiplex our XMLSockets, which not only makes them more scalable but opens up the new world of communcation between clients.  |
